What does the treatment involve?

The Bowen move is one where the therapist rolls their fingers or thumbs over a muscle or tendon. This can be done on bare skin or through light clothing. The skin is drawn gently away, and a gentle challenge is made on the muscle or tendon, this challenge is held for a few seconds before a 'rolling' move is made over the area. This action generates a powerful effect on the body. During the treatment a number of breaks will be taken to allow the body to assimilate treatment.

A treatment will take approximately 35 - 45 minutes, perhaps a little longer on your first visit.
